This is where all energy streams are collected, stored and dispensed as desired.
What might sound easy is not so simple in reality . The temperature and volumes change continuously in the tank. It took over 20 years of experience to develop the simple but efficient multi-layer loading principle for the BRUNNER buffer tanks.
Our direct, internal feed principle is rarely found in other products on the market.
The result is precise thermal lamination without vortexing or mixing caused by velocity of incoming or outgoing streams.
Our decision: The heat exchange within the BHZ is not carried out by coiled immersion tubes, but with system-separated copper-plate heat exchangers. This high-quality and expensive solution optimizes lamination and efficiency.
Simple, internal coiled-tube exchangers are not used without reason.
The BHZ buffer tanks with 750 or 1000 litre capacity will fit through normal basement doors (Ø 75 cm or 80 cm). The 1500 litre tank is usually installed before the ceiling is laid (Ø 100 cm).
