Touch display

How to use the touch-sensitive display

Menu operation with "Back" and "Confirm" is self-explanatory and easy.

The contractor needs only to set up the system once under "Settings" and then configure the connected components. This could be an existing water boiler during modernisation of your heating system, or an additional heat pump. All that has to be done is to tell the BHZ what was available before, or what is connected now. This configuration is then displayed on the screen and further settings can be considered.

HEATING SYSTEM
All in sight on one screen - The Startpage has information about all heat sources and receivers:

  • Which device is suppling heat now?
  • How full is the buffer tank?
  • Where is heat consumed?

These questions are very easy to answer.
Arranged on the left, you see the heat sources. The solar output is displayed by alternating indications of current power and temperature of collectors; the tile stove boiler situation is described by boiler temperature. If the buffer tank temperature is not sufficient, available additional heating (here: pellet module) is activated. The colour flows and temperature indicators allow you to check whether the buffer tank contains enough heatThe heat receivers are arranged on the right, i.e. the heating circles and hot water reserve. For the fresh water module, the tank volume indicator is replaced by current flow volume. Touching the buttons or symbols provides detailed information or the setting options.

TILE STOVE / FIREPLACE WATER HEATER/BOILER
Temperatures and system data for the tile stove with internal water heater. The grey "Settings" button displays various tile stove parameters.
SOLAR HEATING SYSTEM
Detailed information about the existing solar heating system. The picture shows the solar heating system as a separate version. Figures and graphics showing the solar output for the last few days, weeks, months or years are available under "Solar Output".
ADDITIONAL HEATING
In addition to a BRUNNER Pelletmodul, two other heating systems can be controlled and displayed. It is possible to set individual time intervals and conditions for all additional heating systems. The picture shows a tile stove with a Pelletmodul and a supplementary electric heater. The Pellet module supplies heat automatically if the buffer tank flow temperatures for the different heating circles and domestic hot water supply fall below the set limits. The electric heater is used for antifreeze protection, if the buffer tank temperatures are extremely low and no logs or pellets are burning.
HEATING CIRCLES
Each heating circle can be set individually. In the default it's floor heating. Activation intervals for the standard "Family" program are highlighted. The heating circle is in DAY mode regardless of the time (Mode: on) and not reduced, because the Party mode has been activated and will run for the next four hours. Under "Heating programs" you can choose individual settings or preset programs.
RESET HEATING PROGRAMS
Overview of current heating program is shown. The orange frames mark the time ranges for DAY mode of the given heating circle. The grey fields are the intervals for reduced flow temperature or for turning the pump off completely. The selection window allows recall of other programs. Confirmation is needed before any changes are made.
By touching the "Timeplan" button a level can be accessed, where the time intervals can be changed individually. You can choose the intervals for additional heating systems, domestic hot water supply and circulation in the same way.
NDIVIDUAL HEATING PROGRAMS
On this page you can change the activation intervals for individual heating circles for each day of week. Each box symbolizes 15 minutes.
Before applying the changes, the user is asked to enter a name for the modified program using the on-screen keyboard.
You can choose the intervals for additional heating systems, domestic hot water supply and circulation in the same way.
