Insulation for the buffer tank / hydraulic box
A new generation of insulating materials for your heating
Plastic panels with polyester fibre lining of different thickness are used for the buffer tank and hydraulics.
The flexible insulation of the buffer tank covers the whole tank like a blanket and is affixed with a clamp. No more broken zippers, no frayed nerves.
The same material is used for the bottom and top cover.
This is a 100mm thick, water-repellent polyester fibre. Compared to commonly available polyurethane insulating materials, the fibre has a thermal conductivity 10-15% less than normal, thus better insulating properties. However, the greatest advantage is flexibility. For other insulating foams or shells available on market, there are often air gaps present, where the heat can escape. Flexible insulating materials with no temperature-dependent deformations ensure the best possible insulation.
Insulation thicknesses (polyester fibre mats):
* 100 mm for buffer tanks
* 60 mm covers for hydraulic box
* 30 mm panels (black) as rear cover for hydraulic box
